My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, while spacious, had a peculiar strong, sweet smell that was a bit off-putting. On the bright side, they were clean and quiet, offering all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient for exploring the city, being close to the train station and with easy access to public transport. However, the dining options were quite minimal, leaving much to be desired.
I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, which were surprisingly large with a separate hallway and access to the bathroom. However, they were a little dark due to the outdated decor. The location was very good for exploring the surrounding areas and the town, being only a 10-minute bus journey from Lugano Central Train Station and close to the Lake. The dining experience was a treat with a wonderful selection of food provided, but the facilities are very old and could use updating.
